Using examples
Where a vacancy assesses behaviours, it should identify the relevant expectations. You can draw on examples from employment, education, voluntary activity or other relevant experience.
Describe the situation briefly, explain what you personally did, and show the result. Include the reasoning behind important decisions.
Be specific
A clear account of one relevant task is more useful than an unsupported claim that you are reliable, organised or an effective communicator.
Interviews
Be prepared to explain your role in the example, the choices you made and what you learnt.
